Yes, the 2 models are the same size. Cases for the Apple Airpods Pro 1st Gen would fit perfectly in the Airpods Pro 2nd Gen however the speaker hole will be covered.

The Case for Pro 2 also suits the Pro 1st Gen however there would be 2 unnecessary additional holes in the cover supposedly for the Speaker that don't exist in the Pro 1st Gen.

Would the case for Galaxy Buds 3 work for Buds 3 Pro?

Yes they are the exact same size and layout
